Coming Together in the Circle

The Story: Many times when I make a textile art piece, the inspiration starts with one or two pieces of cloth. In this case the pink circle of little figures in the middle and the turquoise silk around the edges. Sometimes I dream about a piece before it becomes a reality....The blue symbolizes the power of water to connect, also seen in the waves of the handpainted silk (by me) in the left top corner. The circle of heart felt connection, threaded with gold, hopefully speaks for itself.
